Mercutio and Benvolio

We made a scene of "Romeo and Juliet" and I made it with Manuela. Manuela was Benvolio and I was Mercutio.

Love or hate?

Is Romeo and Juliet about love or hate?

Most of the people say that “Romeo and Juliet” is one of the most beautiful and passionate stories of love. But do they know that the story begins with a fight between two servants of the Montague and the Capulet; two families that hated each other long time ago, terrifying the people that were around and hurting each other? Well, in my opinion “Romeo and Juliet” is more about hate and love.

The play called “Romeo and Juliet” is about a boy and a girl who fall in love and die in love. But before their death many conflicts are developed by hate take place in the play. For example, Tybalt’s dead cause by Romeo’s revenge and Mercutio’s dead by Tybalt’s hate to the Montagues. Lord Montague and Lord Capulet hated each other producing many problems. Juliet didn’t want to marry Count Paris, so she drank a potion to make all the people think she was dead. Romeo thought that she was dead and he killed himself. After that, Juliet committed suicide.

To sum up, Romeo and Juliet is more about hate because a love story of five days could kill lots of persons creating a horrible end.

Comprando una casa

En la clase de Lengua nos pidieron realizar un texto en parejas en el cual se puedan convertir desventajas en ventajas. Yo lo hice con Manuela.

Es una casa pequeña pero muy fácil de limpiar. Está a quince cuadras de la playa, pero son pocos minutos en auto y realizas ejercicio caminando. No tiene luz eléctrica ni agua corriente, aunque hay una bomba de agua en la cual la podes recogerla manualmente; lo bueno de esto es que no hay que pagar impuestos por luz ni agua y el agua que se extrae de la bomba tiene más nutrientes y nunca se termina. Las persianas no funcionan muy bien, hay veces en las que no se abren, y si se abren, es difícil volverlas a cerrar; la ventaja de esto es que entra luz solar. Además, hay un perro bastante viejo y malhumorado que no deja entrar a extraños y rara vez a los conocidos; lo bueno de esto es que obtienen la seguridad de un perro guardián.
